LEGISLATION

Importers (to the EU) and manufacturers must notify the classification and labelling of substances to the European Chemicals Agency, ECHA. This requirement applies mainly to all hazardous substances (as substances or in mixtures) and substances that are / are to be registered under REACH. The substances must be notified no later than one month after they are placed on the market.
