Notification to the Norwegian Food Safety Authority.

Assistance with registation in the Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP).

LEGISLATION

Cosmetic products are mainly regulated by regulation (EC) no 1223/2009 on cosmetic products. The Norwegian legislation is nearly identical to this regulation.

Importers and Norwegian producers selling cosmetics on the Norwegian market, shall notify the business to the Norwegian Food Safety Authority. All cosmetic products needs to be registered in the Cosmetic Products Notification Portal, CPNP.

Before placing on the marked, all cosmetic products need to have a cosmetic product safety report. The report shall be available to the authorities in case of health damage during use.
